hey tones,

is there some magic way to get the streaming audio to work? because honest and for true, i clicked on it, and all it did was install a little icon on my mac with .pls extension. does it hate the mac?

You can open a .pls file with iTunes. If it doesn't open up autmatically when you double-click, you could probably drag the file to the iTunes icon.
